Blank Space
I know how to fix this blank space during edits! This article needs to be unlocked! ~ ScratchDude101 ♦ talk ∆ contribs 18:19, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry - but I'm literally unable to unprotect the article. All MediaWiki pages are protected from editing, and it can't be changed just tell me how to fix it, or put in the text for me to add/remove/change/replace it with.

Another
If we added <big> and </big> we should do <small> and </small>. Also, remove {{Reflist}}. Can '''+''' and ''+'' be added too?
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 08:46, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
- Right, added <small> and </small>. ;)
- I have no idea what {{Reflist}} does (again, sorry for being so unhelpful ^^), so I didn't remove it. Could you explain what it does and why it should be removed? Thanks ^^
- And as I don't know what '''+''' and ''+'' do, you'll have to explain them... uh, I feel so dumb :P
Jonathanpb (talk | contribs) 11:12, 20 March 2011 (UTC)- {{Reflist}} is supposed to be like <references/>, but doesn't work. '''+''' is bold, ''+'' is italics. Duh. :P (The + is where the cursor comes out.)
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 11:19, 20 March 2011 (UTC)- Uh, WeirdF, you mixed them up. Three is bold, and two is italics. Also, please don't have it so that it comes up with the text inside. Thanks!
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 14:18, 20 March 2011 (UTC)- Woops! Sorry, that was an accident. You don't want the text? I just thought it would be less confusing to new users... I tried to make it so that the text didn't come up when you added it in, but that didn't work...
WeirdF (talk | contribs) 18:25, 20 March 2011 (UTC)- I don't care about the text, but I don't want it to show up in the edit box. Also, they are mixed up.
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 18:34, 20 March 2011 (UTC)- aren't bold, header, italic, and some others unnecessary because they're on the top bar?
Veggieman001 (talk | contribs) 03:10, 21 March 2011 (UTC)

So, are there oppurtunities to make new commands?
So are there? There are probably some more useful things we could use. I was wondering if norms like me could add stuff with permission.

- see above; the page cannot be unlocked. however, you may request additions via this page or the community portal.
Veggieman001 (talk | contribs) 00:04, 9 May 2011 (UTC)- What do you want?
- I am planning on adding <nowiki></nowiki>, <scratchsig></scratchsig>, <span></span>, <div></div>.
(I want the nowiki tags because they don't work so well in the top bar. :/)
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 13:57, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Could scratch blocks be added?
This would be handy.

Eh?
Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 20:34, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
- Meh, I suppose.
veggieman001 (talk | contribs) 23:54, 14 March 2013 (UTC)- No that's wrong. The official working wiki tag is <br /> not <br/>.
Curiouscrab (talk | contribs) 00:23, 15 March 2013 (UTC)- Nah, they both work and <br/> is cleaner and matches <references/>. What's your source on <br />?
veggieman001 (talk | contribs) 02:30, 15 March 2013 (UTC)- His source is probably the edittools on top of the box. Which, btw, contains <br />, so what's the point in repeating it? I repeated <nowiki> because it didn't always work when highlighting things already.
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 18:53, 16 March 2013 (UTC)- I knew that!!! (oh wait, no I didn't) I don't really care, as I type everything out myself anyway. Do whatever.
veggieman001 (talk | contribs) 19:00, 16 March 2013 (UTC) - Oh yeah, it is above the edit box in one of the squares. Whoops.

faqshortanswer
Could <div class="faqshortanswer">+</div>
be added? People wouldn't have to type as much if they wanted to make an FAQ page or something like that because they could just click the text and it comes up in the edit box.
Legobob23o (talk | contribs) 20:30, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- I think so. Though it would actually have to be
<div class="faqshortanswer"><onlyinclude>+</onlyinclude></div>
.
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 08:59, 5 April 2013 (UTC)- Okay.
Legobob23o (talk | contribs) 12:29, 5 April 2013 (UTC) - why not have them be separate items so the onlyinclude one could be reused elsewhere
veggieman001 (talk | contribs) 13:38, 5 April 2013 (UTC)- OK, though i'm not sure where else we might use it...
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 14:10, 5 April 2013 (UTC)- Templates.
Curiouscrab (talk | contribs) 14:12, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
- Templates.

- Okay.
2.0 styling
I think we can use Scratch 2.0 styling for this as well. I'm thinking we could have the edittools rectangular-shaped like below the Scratch 2.0 forums where it lets you switch from the standard forums to the mobile forums. That's just some ideas. What do you think of them?

Recently while looking at this page's source code, I found some hidden characters. Unfortunately, there is no way to access them.

<onlyinclude></onlyinclude>
Why not add this tag?
3sal2 (talk | contribs) 22:25, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
- What is the difference between that and <includeonly>? (Pardon my ignorance)
jvvg (talk | contribs) 01:30, 29 May 2015 (UTC)- Never mind, I found it on the MediaWiki website. Sure, I'll add it.

Signature
Should {{User:/Sig}} be added for the part with the things to sign your username?
Ziggy741 (talk | contribs) 01:09, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
- If you have a custom sig, you should go to preferences and set that as your sig. Then the 4 tildes will use your custom sig.

Change something here

Maybe change want to wish?

- I'd rather not invalidate a whole bunch of caches just for a small wording change. It's fine as it is.
