The Ideas Page is a page on the Scratch Website that helps Scratchers learn how to make a variety of projects on Scratch. Before Scratch 3.0, it was called the Tips Page, which was an updated version of the Help Page. It can be reached by clicking on the "Ideas" button on the navigation bar.
On 16 December, 2024, the Ideas page was updated to include an idea generator as well as more content.
Getting Started Section
The "New to Scratch? Start here!" section contains links to various resources for New Scratchers.
- The "Try Getting Started Tutorial" button opens the Getting Started tutorial in the editor.
- The "See Tutorials Library" opens a library of Project Tutorials.
- The "Coding Cards" button introduces Activity Cards or Scratch Cards, which are for "learning to create interactive games, stories, music, animations, and more." The section also includes a link to download a PDF for all the cards or purchase the printed set.
YouTube Section

The "ScratchTeam Channel" section showcases tutorial videos, stories, and resources on the Scratch Team's YouTube channel. It also contains a link to download written versions of the guides in case the computer in question does not allow access to YouTube.
