The Ideas Page helps Scratchers learn how to make a variety of projects on Scratch. Before Scratch 3.0, it was called the Tips Page, which was an updated version of the Help Page. It can be reached by clicking on the "Ideas" button on the navigation bar.

Activity Guides

The Things to Try section is a list of project tutorials; clicking on one opens the Project Editor with a tutorial that guides the user step-by-step through the creation of the project. The projects created by following the tutorials are usually quite simple, but users are encouraged to expand on the result with their own ideas.

At the bottom of the section is a button labeled "See All Tutorials" that links to the Tutorial Library, another collection of Project Tutorials.
The "Animate a Name" tutorial as seen on the Ideas page.

Activity Cards

A section titled "Get the Entire Collection of Coding Cards" introduces "Activity Cards" or Scratch Cards, which are for "learn[ing] to create interactive games, stories, music, animations, and more." The section includes a link to download a PDF for all the cards or purchase the printed set.

Starter Projects

This section covers Starter Projects, or the projects created by the Scratch Team account to help Scratchers "get ideas for making [their] own projects."
