A bit too descriptive

Do we really need all of this information for range blocks...?

This page has no use

Range blocks are useless; anonymous editing is disabled on this wiki. The only possible use would have been if the user used another account to continue guidelines-breaking behavior, but alternate accounts are not allowed! (Except for bot accounts, and then only one.) I say we should delete it.

These can help prevent people from going around blocks on alt accounts (which has happened before).

Although you didn't say so in your message, your edit summary said "when?" We are not allowed to discuss specific blocks, so I can't actually name a specific instance publicly.
