Please don't make several edits in a short amount of time

Hello, I'm WikiMonitor, a bot that patrols the Recent Changes. This is just a friendly reminder that you should try to avoid making a lot of edits to one page in a short amount of time. Specifically, you made a lot of edits (6 in the last hour) to User:Supermonkeycat157/Directory recently. Please use the "Show preview" button before submitting edits to prevent this in the future. Thanks!

Too many edits.

On Making Scratch Crash you used 3 edits to add {{outdated}} template. Please use preview to minimize this.

About replying on talk pages

Hi, did you read the Welcome tutorial? Replying is done by indenting each line an extra degree, not just using line breaks. I recommend you read the tutorial for more about that.

Footers

Don't put footers on talk pages. The template will keep going up as new discussion threads come. For example, look at the page after I posted. The footer is above this post.

To clarify, what 12944qwerty is trying to say is that footers are useless on talk pages because new topics are automatically posted at the bottom, which is after the footer you added.

PLEASE DON'T MAKE SEVERAL EDITS IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME

Hi, this is not acceptable. I have (or some other admin has) to go through each and every one of these edits! Can you PLEASE use the "show preview" button? It's right here, ready for you to use, the middle button of them all:

Scratch Wiki Show Preview Button and Show Changes Button.PNG

I have many things I want to say about your many edits, none of them good, so I will just leave off by repeating my request for you to preview before saving. Please preview before saving!!

Those edits are to seven different pages, so it's like he edited each one three times quickly. While you should use "Show Preview", Supermonkeycat157 may have been testing something out and had to switch between pages to do it. But I don't think that making 20 edits in about half an hour, most with less than 50 characters added or removed, is acceptable.

A tip.

A tip, you can include your sidebox template into your header. It will show all with just one template.

About your consciousness

I know I just deleted the page, but I finally got around to making a "consciousness" template: User:Kenny2scratch/Conscious - you can use it now!

About time :D.... I was really confused when I was trying to do it for me... Fortunately, I got it....

By the way

When you need an admin to do something, it's best to either ask on S:CPSYS or my talk page - the former because it's designed for that purpose, the latter because I'm the most active admin (and especially jvvg is not really very active as of late). 'Kay? :)

About outdated pages

Hi, I've had to undo a few of your edits recently so I just want to let you know why since you don't seem to see my edit summaries.

On pages that are about features that had different pages in different versions, we use the {{other version}} template to link to all the different pages, and not the {{obsolete}} template.

On pages that are about features that no longer exist but the removal version is unknown, we use the {{obsolete}} template to indicate that the feature doesn't exist anymore, and not the {{other version}} template.

On pages that are about features that no longer exist and have different pages in different versions, we only use the {{other version}} template because the statement "this page is about... version 2.0" makes it clear that it's not the current version anyway.

Does that make sense? Hope you can keep that in mind :)
