== When using <nowiki>{{</nowiki>[[Template:Dead link|dead link]]<nowiki>}}</nowiki> ==
== Is there a way to see the newest Wikians? ==
When using {{t|dead link}} on a reference, put it outside the reference - templates and parser functions inside other parser hooks act weirdly, so it's best to keep the template outside the tag. It also shows more quickly that the reference is a dead link - no need to scroll down to discover that the reference is dead. Thanks!{{User:Kenny2scratch/sig}} 04:58, 5 February 2018 (UTC)

== A Question ==
Hi There! I have a question about the wiki. I tried to put a head line on my user page and it didn`t seem to work also how can you make different fonts? Thank you so much!
<scratchsig>Coolcodekitty</scratchsig> 16:07, 9 February 2018 (UTC)coolcodekitty
:Hi there, {{user|Coolcodekitty|name}}! Welcome to the wiki!
:*You can put sections that will show up in the table of contents (if there is one) by doing "<nowiki>== SECTION NAME HERE ==</nowiki>" or "<nowiki>==SECTION NAME HERE==</nowiki>" while editing the page. {{e|:)}} Is that what you meant by  a headline?
:*You can make text in different fonts by using span style. For example, to make something that says "Example!" in the font Georgia, you could do this: <code><nowiki><span style="font-family:Georgia">Example!</span></nowiki></code> to make this: <span style="font-family:Georgia">Example!</span> However, keep in mind there are only certain fonts you can use.
:*If you need help with wiki code, you can ask someone or look at the code of people's userpages (just make sure you don't save the edit, as that's a violation of [[Scratch Wiki:Userspace|userspace]]), and test stuff out in the [[Scratch_Wiki:Sandbox|sandbox]].
:*If you need more help with formatting, feel free to check out [[Help:Formatting|this page]].
:I hope this helped you! Good luck! {{e|:)}}<br/>{{User:Bigpuppy/Real Signature}} 16:30, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
OK!! thank you!!!!

== I'm new! Where do I start? ==
Hi! I'm new, as you pretty much know already. Um... I'm not sure where to start, any ideas?

:Hi there! Welcome to the Scratch Wiki. Have you checked out the links on the welcome template at the top of your [[User_talk:LunaStarSeeker|talk page]] yet?<br/>{{User:Bigpuppy/Real Signature}} 17:10, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
== Custom Signature? ==
Hi Bigpuppy! I saw your custom signature and decided to try to make one also. I used [[Scratch Wiki:Custom Signatures|this WikiSite]] for the instructions. However, I can't figure out how to make the signature smaller. (steps 4 & 5). Do you have any advice? Thx! <scratchsig>20audreyw</scratchsig> 23:06, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
:Hi there! To make text smaller, you can use <nowiki><small></nowiki> and <nowiki></small></nowiki>. For example, "<nowiki><small>hi there</small></nowiki>" makes "<small>hi there</small>". "<nowiki><small><small>hi there</small></small></nowiki>" makes "<small><small>hi there</small></small>". [[Help:Images#Size and Frame|This section]] on [[Help:Images]] might help you with making images smaller.
:Thanks for asking! {{e|:)}}<br/>{{User:Bigpuppy/Real Signature}} 17:38, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
== Just a question ==
Hey, hello! I just wanted to know something of the wiki formatting: How can I edit my talk page so that everyone can post a comment? How can I add something like a "menu" at the top of my wiki page? (Such as the ones of -Vuton-'s and yzyzyz's)
<scratchsig>Botcho_Otkho</scratchsig> 12:58, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
:Hi! Welcome to the Scratch Wiki. Anyone can edit your talk page already. You can make a navigation bar by coding a subpage of yours with links to some of your pages, then transcluding the subpage by doing something like this: <nowiki>{{User:Bigpuppy/Navigation}}</nowiki> ([[User:Bigpuppy/Navigation]] is a link to the subpage holding my navigation bar.)
:Feel free to look at the code my navigation bar by going [[User:Bigpuppy/Navigation|here]] and going to the "edit" page - just make sure you don't submit your edit. I'm guessing others are okay with you doing this too as long as you don't submit your edit.
:Thanks for editing the wiki! {{e|:)}}<br/>{{User:Bigpuppy/Real Signature}} 14:07, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
== I'm not allowed to edit my Navbar ==
Hello! I followed your tips, but now when I try to change those links to internal links, it says that I'm not allowed to edit other users' pages. What happened? Was that because I moved it? Thanks!
<scratchsig>Botcho_Otkho</scratchsig> 15:07, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
:Hi, the reason you couldn't edit your navbar was because it actually was another user's page (though that user doesn't exist yet). I've moved your navbar to a subpage of your own user page now, so that it doesn't violate userspace. You should be able to edit [[User:Botcho Otkho/NB|it]] now.{{User:Kenny2scratch/sig}} 15:22, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
::I got that after you said that you moved my navbar. Thanks! <scratchsig>Botcho_Otkho</scratchsig> 15:24, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
== How to color links? ==
Hello! I was trying to make a signature for the wiki. I've put a link and then the <code><font color="red"></font></code> and inside I've put a link, but the link remains light blue. I saw on your sig that you changed the link's color to brown. How did you do that? Thanks ;)

Well, there's always the User Creation Log...
Also please make sure to include a timestamp in your signature, or use your preferences to add your siggy!
