The tag has been that way for a very long time. (By design.) There was a glitch some months ago that caused the link to the studio to be broken, causing users to be directed to a profile. That has since been corrected. I think that since it is part of the Welcoming Committee, and has been for quite awhile, it is at least worthy of mention. {{smile}}<scratchsig>RonTheNerd</scratchsig> 01:41, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

Throughout the three articles: Welcoming Committee, How to Curate the Welcoming Committee, and How to Join the Welcoming Committee, the phrase "Welcoming Committee" is sometimes capitalized, and sometimes not. I think it should be capitalized since it is a proper noun. I think we should at least be consistent. Which way should it be?

Since I got no response I will assume that the capitalized version is correct and will update the articles accordingly.

Update

The image of the three things that new Scratchers see needs to be updated with the new image from Scratch 2.0. Can anyone help work on this? Thanks! --

I'm not sure which one you mean... Where can one find this?

Uh, I think I got it updated assuming I found the right thing.

Private Forum

That part seems to make the Welcoming Committee something very exclusive. To make it sound less weird, could someone add more context to why the private forum is needed? Basically it is needed to improve the review system and to coordinate reviews, as well as to easily exchange resources for curators. -

I've changed it. How does it look?

Shouldn't it be Scratch Welcoming Committee

Hello. Should it be scratch welcoming committee or welcoming committee.

Reasons why welcoming committee

1. That is the name for the project submsissions studio
2. Name of private forum

Reasons why scratch welcoming committee

1. Often abbreviated as SWC not WC
2. Name of main studio

So what should it be?

Should me mention a fun fact?

Hello! I've noticed on Scratch that when you use the tag "@welcomingcommittee" in comments and click on it will lead you to the studio and not to a user named that way. I feel like that's a fun fact but also pretty unneccesary. Should we mention it or not?
Nambaseking01 (talk | contribs) 18:05, 6 January 2020 (UTC)

Sure! But when mentioning it we should call it more of a "Feature" than a "fun fact".

What happened to your grammar all of a sudden? :P Well okay, but in which section should we add it — we can't make a seperate section just for a mere tagging feature.

Woah fixed lol. As for your question I would put in the main summary before the article.
Jakel181 (talk | contribs) 18:51, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
You sure? I don't think it's that important either.
