Archive.png This article or section documents something not included in the current version of Scratch (3.0). It is only useful from a historical perspective.

The stretch effect was introduced sometime in 2004.[1] This effect is still usable in Scratch 1.x, but not in Scratch 2.0.

In some Scratch Modifications, the block is available for others to use. The stretch effect does not appear in Scratch 2.0, unlike other effects such as fisheye and whirl.
