The Set Voice to () block is a Text to Speech block and a stack block that changes the current Text to Speech voice.

Options

The block has a drop down that contains a list of voices that can be switched to. They are:

Name Description
alto standard female voice
tenor standard male voice
squeak high-pitched female voice
giant deep male voice
kitten only says "meow"

Uses

  • To set the voice for a sprite
when gf clicked
set voice to (squeak v)::tts
  • To switch voices during a project
when gf clicked

speak [Hello.]::extension
