Set Drag Mode ()
3.0 Set drag mode.png
Category Sensing
Type Stack
Introduced in 3.0

The Set Drag Mode () is a sensing block, and a stack block.[1] It sets the sprite to draggable/not draggable. Before Scratch 3.0 it is not possible to set sprite can/cannnot be dragged by a block. This block is not available in stage. In Scratch 3.0, this becomes the only way to set sprite to draggable, due to removing the draggable sprite feature.[2]

Example

  • After sprite is broadcasted "Stage 2" it can be dragged.

  • Sprite can be dragged if the Space Key is pressed.
