March Featured Images
Not done
Hello everyone! It's time to decide on featured images for March. If you have any suggestions, please leave them below.
- What can I suggest?
You can suggest any image(s) on the English Scratch Wiki that have not been featured previously.
- How do I tell if an image has already been featured?
It will have the {{featured}} template on it, shown as a star icon in the top right corner of the image page.
- Is there a limit to the number of images I can suggest?
No. However, please don't suggest too many... bigpuppy talk ▪︎ contribs 02:31, 2 February 2021 (UTC)

How do elections work?
So, I'm a bit confused about the Scratch Wiki elections. How do people vote? How is it decided when to hold them? Jackson49 (talk | contribs) 23:12, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
- See this page for a lot more information about elections. Here is a very brief overview:
- Elections are held on an as-needed basis and there is no regular schedule. The need is determined collectively by the existing EW+ by asking ourselves if the active EW+ we have now is sufficient to keep everything running smoothly or if we think we need additional people to help us out. We also bear in mind that holding an election is often a weekslong distraction from actual article editing, so we try not to have elections more often than we have to.
- People vote on an external site that allows you to log in with your Wiki credentials to cast a vote. You rank the candidates from first to last, and then whichever candidate has the best average ranking wins (we usually select the top two).
- When we do hold an election, we announce on the Community Portal (i.e. here) well in advance letting people know about the dates everything will happen. Then we will allow candidates to nominate themselves, and once nominations close the existing EW+ will look over the list and determine who we think should run. Then the selected candidates will write speeches, and then people will vote.
- We do not have any plans to host an election in the near future.
