The "record project video" was a feature in the Scratch User Interface, added on December 21, 2015, which allowed Scratchers to record Scratch projects without any third-party screen recording software. It was removed in Scratch 3.0.
It was only able to record durations less than 60 seconds.
When creating a recording, multiple options are displayed to configure the recording. The default option selected is to include sound from your project. Additional options are available by selecting "more options".
|Include Sound From Project||This option includes all sounds from the projects in the recording, including sounds created from notes, sound effects, etc.|
|Include Sound From Microphone||This option includes all sounds from the microphone will be included in the recording, if one is plugged in.|
|Show Mouse Pointer||This option displays the mouse pointer in the recording, if it is within the bounds of the recording area.|
|Record Entire Editor||This option includes the entire editor instead of only the project player in the recording.
|Record at Highest Quality||This option will ensure the highest quality possible in the recording.
